Hi, I'm Ann, the owner of Dragon Tooth Studio.  I design handcrafted jewelry and fiber art inspired by life on Cape Cod. I grew up in the small Cape Cod town of Sandwich Massachusetts.  I spent my childhood exploring the Cape's rocky beaches, swimming in the freezing water of Cape Cod Bay, and hiking breathtaking marsh and wooded trails with my parents and four siblings.

I love children and animals;  I have 2 daughters, 3 rabbits, and a Golden Retriever puppy.  I am known for starting knitting projects (not finishing), getting lost in romance novels, playing in the dirt of my garden, enduring the pain (and loving the results) of pilates, and getting lost in the mind-body connection of yoga.

I graduated from Simmons College, with a degree in Retail Management and a minor in Women’s Studies. I went on to manage businesses in the fields of retail, banking, and medicine (human and animal). In the summer of 2014 I decided that it was high time I manage my own business. It was a long time coming.

I love mixing colors and textures in my little basement studio.  I create unique, fairly priced, high quality pieces of jewelry that are easy to wear and made with responsibly sourced materials.  And since I can't actually complete any of my many hand knit projects, I feel extremely satisfied winding the yarn for my felted dryer balls.

In 2016 I introduced a new product line to my studio - hand made Hot / Cool Packs.  I love choosing the fabrics and textures of the material and filling them with the fragrant dried lavender flowers and flax seeds.  Hopefully in the next few years I can supply all of my own lavender from my garden.
Please contact me with any questions. I'm happy to design custom pieces. Thanks for visiting Dragon Tooth Studio.
